Helping your child pay for college
• Work with your child to determine aid and scholarship possibilities.
• Know that post-secondary education in not only financially possible, but also feasible. Educate yourself about the many aid opportunities available.
• Attend financial aid nights.
• Begin a savings plan for college, if you have not already planned for it.
• Complete the FAFSA for free as soon as possible after October 1st or before March 1st of your child’s senior year to know how much federal aid your child is eligible to receive. Additional scholarships may be available once the FAFSA has been submitted.
